O praise the Lord with one consent, lo Chandos Anthem numero 9, HWV 254, è anche esso, come il secondo, di grandi dimensioni, ridondante e pieno di pathos retorico. E' unico però se confrontato cogli altri Anthems di Chandos, su differenti piani. E' innanzitutto il solo Anthem che sia composto su un testo interamente tratto dal New Version of the Psalms di Tate e Brady, e inoltre il solo che non abbia una Ouverture indipendente. La composizione inizia al contrario con una grande introduzione orchestrale che porta al primo coro . Inoltre è il solo Anthem fra i Chandos che contienee un brano solista per basso "That God is Great", ispirato infatti da una aria dell'Ode for the birthday of Queen Anne, che Handel ebbe modo di comporre nel 1713.
